What Korea requires
- Registered orchards, packing houses and VHT facilities for mango, dragon fruit and pomelo. Vietnam sends the list to Korea's Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency (APQA) before each export season, so shipping weeks for these fruits are booked early.
- Vapor heat treatment, lot by lot, at a registered facility under Korean and Vietnamese inspectors. For mango the fruit core reaches at least 47 °C and is held for 20 minutes.
- Joint export inspection before loading. The phytosanitary certificate states the VHT facility, date, temperature and treatment time.
- Pesticide residues are checked against Korea's Positive List System (PLS). We send a residue test report for every lot.
- Certificate of Origin, Form VK (Korea–Vietnam FTA). For mango, the preferential duty with Form VK is 0 % instead of 30 % indicative. Please confirm the current rate with your customs broker.
- Import declaration with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) is filed by the importer. Korean label text can be printed on the cartons on request, as agreed in the sales contract.

Other Vietnamese fruits, for example seedless lime, are not on our Korea list yet. Ask us and we will check the current APQA rule for that fruit.
